Recent WIM Activities
Over the past weeks, WIM Members have been taking part in several events and activities and with the arrival of the holy month of Ramadaan, the volume of activity has naturally increased.
- The Annual General Assembly was organised on the 10th of October 2004
- Food has been distributed to vulnerable families in many regions throughout the island under the Food Donation Programme in Ramadaan as Mawlana Shah Ahmad Noorani Siddiqi (R.A.) had instructed
- Qari Mubeez has arrived in Mauritius and is currently conducting Taraaweeh prayers in Curepipe, among other activities
Forthcoming Events
- WIM will be conducting a waez programme during Ramadaan as usual
- Sunday 31st October 2004: A forum/conference will Insha Allah be held with the ICC on the theme "Living as Muslims in a difficult world". Mawlana Noor Hayat Khan will be addressing the audience. Qari Mubeez is also scheduled to attend.
